Obama Says It’s Okay to Use Baby Brains in Research

Funding embryonic stem cell research is the same as throwing money away

Remember when Obama got all loud and proud about his healthcare overhaul, affectionately known as Obamacare, saying that it would allow citizens to keep their current insurance plan if they liked it, keep their current provider, keep their doctors, and most of all, no abortion coverage whatsoever.

Yeah, that was all a lie.

What we now know is that you can’t keep your current plan (unless of course you want to pay exorbitant monthly premiums). And you cannot keep your current coverage and doctors (especially since many doctors plan to retire and leave medical practice altogether as result of this bad bill). And by the way, every single US citizen will be forced to fund abortion through your insurance plan; regardless of your moral or religious objections.

Alliance Defense Fund president Alan Sears, writing at Lifenews.com explains what this means for us all:

“[T]he Obama administration has now made it clear that the individual mandate in ObamaCare will contain a charge—an “abortion premium mandate”—to forcibly collect monies from millions of Americans who participate in state-administered ‘insurance exchanges’ to pay for elective abortions. And nothing in the final rule that the Department of Health and Human Services issued March 12 concerning the establishment of exchanges required by ObamaCare alters that in the least.”

This is what happens when, as Nancy Pelosi said, we pass the bill in order to find out what it says. The fact that many lawmakers didn’t even bother to read this bill before it was passed is sickening enough. The fact that we have been sold a bill of goods, no pun intended, and lied to once again by this administration is unacceptable. Obama continues his attacks on religious freedom and conscience protections as he ignores the American people on the issue of life and tax-payer funded abortion. He seems to, without remorse, plow forward ignoring the opposition of a majority of Americans on this issue (no wonder his poll numbers are tanking).

Taking his pro-abortion record to an all-time low, president Obama has approved a new fetal stem cell experiment that uses the brains of aborted babies as research material.

The director of Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life, Scott Fischbach, explains what this means:

“StemCells Inc. is not using embryonic stem cells. A five-day-old human being at the embryonic stage does not have a brain, but a fetus at 10 or 20 weeks of development with visible fingers, toes and ears has a functioning brain…Developing human beings in the womb are treated simply as raw material for laboratory experimentation by StemCells Inc. and other companies seeking to monetize aborted unborn children.”

Why does our government continue to fund a complete failure in embryonic stem cell research? When not one single patient has been helped through the use of embryonic stem cells it seems silly to continue to fund the research. My goodness, even the researches that cloned “dolly” the sheep have abandoned embryonic stem cell work. They are leaving in order to pursue adult stem cell research; which has been shown to help thousands of patients.

So why does Obama continue to fund embryonic stem cell research? Well, like many of his failed policies and plans embryonic stem cells research is a complete and utter failure. But, it is tied to the abortion industry. This is not surprising for the most pro-abortion president in American history. He has proven to be willing to do anything and everything within his power – and sometimes outside the limits of his power – to fund the abortion industry and foist his pro-abortion agenda on the American people.

While the economy is in shambles and many people are out of work our president continues to give millions of dollars to an industry that has never had one success; all while he ignores the adult stem cell research that has helped thousands.

This reminds me of an old saying: “a fool and his money are soon parted.”
