Here’s some news we can all get excited about. Jeff Foxworthy, the long-time comedian best known for his “you might be a redneck” bit and for hosting “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader,” has a new game show that is all about the Bible. The show, The Great American Bible Challenge, is set to premier tomorrow night (Thursday) on the Game Show Network. A producer said of the show: ”It’s not like ‘Jeopardy!’ where it’s about knowledge…It’s not like ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ where it’s about luck. I would say there’s comedy, which separates it from most game shows. But it’s charitable.” Contestants compete to win money for the charity of their choice. In a culture where there seems to be no gutter too low for television to sink, it’s refreshing to see a show that centers around the Bible and will no doubt be educational for all that watch. I hope people will get behind this show and support it and the advertisers that are helping sponsor it. Click here for original article.
