If anyone knows the inside scoop on just how much of a bully Planned Parenthood is, Karen Handle, the former executive at Susan G. Komen for the Cure, is that person. After helping to develop a grant funding strategy that sought to best use the funds Komen received, the organization announced that Planned Parenthood would no longer receive funding from Komen because they did not do mammograms. After all, Komen was sending funds to Planned Parenthood for mammograms and the abortion business doesn’t even perform the service. So it seems legitimate that Komen would send funds for mammograms to other groups that actually perform the service. What followed was nothing short of a bullying campaign by Planned Parenthood and the media. Now, after stepping aside so Komen can refocus on their mission, Handel is releasing a book that aims to set the record straight and expose Planned Parenthood for what they really are: bullies.
