DNC Chair Discusses New Party Platform

by Nathan A. Cherry, 09/03/2012

As the election cycle continues we want to make sure every West Virginia voter is equipped to cast an educated vote. We will endeavor to report on where candidates stand on issues critical to voters in order to accomplish this goal. With this in mind it’s important to consider recent comments by DNC chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. In a recent interview Schultz spoke about the Democratic party’s new party plank supporting same-sex “marriage.” For the first time in history a party will officially recognize marriage redefinition as a valid position. Schultz touts President Obama’s recognition of same-sex “marriage” proudly and says he will continue to fight for the homosexual agenda. It’s no wonder so many registered Democrats are, for the first time in their lives for some, planning to vote for someone other than the democratic candidate in the 2012 election.
