Christian Groups Urging Voters to Cast Informed Votes – Issue Prayer Guides to Help

CBN.Com: “Several Christian groups have taken to the Internet to issue a call to pray for America as Election Day approaches. America’s National Prayer Committee has posted an online guide that lists seven ways to pray, how to intercede for the church, voters, candidates, and more. Another group, called Decree for America, is also urging prayer for the country. Former college football coach and ESPN commentator Mike Gottfried is a spokesman for the group. He used a sports analogy to talk about the importance of praying for America. ‘We need to make a stand. We need to be bold,’ Mike Gottfried, with Decree for America, said. ‘I believe you have to be on the offensive and it’s too late to play defense. Someone sits on the sidelines, then we only have ourselves to blame.’ Gottfried’s group has issued a three-point decree for the sanctity of human life, the family, and an undivided Israel.’” Click here for original article.
