Martinsburg, WV – To watch the news, listen to pundits, or sit through an interview with any Planned Parenthood employee, you would think that most Americans favor abortion and want it legalized for all occasions. Such a view would be incorrect. In fact, not even most pro-abortion advocates want abortion legalized for all occasions.
It seems we are constantly being told by politicians and Planned Parenthood that partial birth abortion bans, informed consent laws, and 24 hour waiting periods on abortions are not needed or wanted by Americans in general, but definitely not wanted by pro-abortion advocates. Again, this is patently false.
Proof that these claims are false came in the form of a recent Gallup poll released, showing that pro-life and pro-abortion advocates are not so divided on a number of issues. To be specific, nine issues found mostly common ground between the two different positions.
