This Website Positively Links the Girls Scouts and Planned Parenthood

I ran across a highly fact-filled web site this week that adds significantly to my knowledge of just what is going on in the Girl Scouts of America (GSA) organization and how they have been moved from a traditional, faith-based, community centered, morally and spiritually supportive source of conservative guidance for our next generation of women in America to a pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, pro-promiscuity partner with Planned Parenthood (PP).
In fact, it is almost like PP and the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) have taken over the Board of Directors of the GSA. Don’t believe me? All one must do is visit the website, http://www.100questionsforthegirlscouts.org/100/ . There is a list of no less than 17 members of national or council management who have strong and activi ties to these organizations and a number of others with dubious views on the moral virtue of our children, particularly girls.
No, not every local council of the GSA has been corrupted yet, but it is only a matter of time. What time provides is the opportunity for more and more positions within their management structure to change hands with the replacements being more left-oriented and open to the progressive agenda of “anything goes” moral standards heralded by popular opinion instead of the rule of law (both civil and natural law).
Here are a few notable examples of “leadership” being provided our children (Question numbers relate to the numbers listed on the referenced web site):
Question 5: Are parents aware that if their Girl Scout council partners with Planned Parenthood their daughters may be exposed to sexually graphic booklets like, “It’s Perfectly Normal,” which was distributed to 700 Girl Scouts in Texas? This booklet condones masturbation and contains explicit cartoons of couples having sex and a boy putting on a condom.
Girl Scouts Feel the Bite of Low Cookie Sales – Thank Planned Parenthood

Martinsburg, WV – All the excitement over the Susan G. Komen defunding-then-refunding Planned Parenthood fiasco has died down. This is, in no small part, thanks to the fact that Komen did in fact reinstate its funding of Planned Parenthood and pro-life Senior VP Karen Handle is no longer with the organization. I think this is also due to the collective disgust felt by millions of pro-life advocates that prematurely gave Komen a slap on the back and promise of support.
Is it possible the whole thing was nothing more than an ingenious PR campaign on the part of both organizations designed to boost donations? Because the fiasco accomplished that goal. No, no, no wild conspiracy theories here.
What is not dying down is the anger over the partnership between Planned Parenthood and the Girl Scouts. This is a scenario straight from Cecile Richards’ nightmares as both organizations are being blasted from all sides for a partnership they say doesn’t exist; while more and more evidence of the partnership surfaces.
Cathy Cleaver Ruse has a very informative article in the Washington Times showing the deep and secure partnership between the Girl Scouts and Planned Parenthood. At this point, trying to deny the partnership exists is somewhat like trying to deny the earth revolves around the sun; or that the sun exists. No one’s buying it. Ruse says:

Another Connection Between Planned Parenthood and the Girl Scouts

Martinsburg, WV – The video below certainly has been making the rounds on the Internet and new outlets. Many people are outraged that Indiana State Rep. Bob Morris would make such claims about the Girl Scouts and Planned Parenthood. He’s been called a lot of names and certainly much hate has been thrown his way for his comments. But is he wrong?
Rep. Morris wrote a letter to fellow colleagues explaining his concerns in which he stated:
“…abundant evidence proves that the agenda of Planned Parenthood includes sexualizing young girls through the Girl Scouts, which is quickly becoming a tactical arm of Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood instructional series and pamphlets are part of the core curriculum at GSA training seminars. Denver Auxiliary Bishop James D. Conley of Denver last year warned parents that “membership in the Girl Scouts could carry the danger of making their daughters more receptive to the pro-abortion agenda.”
No sooner had Rep. Morris made these comments did he come under attack for mischaracterizing the Girl Scouts and spreading misinformation about them; most vehemently they deny any association with Planned Parenthood. But it’s hard for the Girl Scouts to deny any partnership with Planned Parenthood when Girl Scout CEO Kathy Cloninger appeared on national television admitting that Girl Scout troops do indeed partner with Planned Parenthood.
What is most intriguing about the video below is the comments by Girl Scouts of Central Indiana Chief Operating Officer Cathy Ritchie. Ritchie says in the video that there is “no relationship” between Girl Scouts of Indiana and Planned Parenthood; that there never has been and never will be a relationship between the two groups.
Girl Scout Harassed for Expressing Opposition to Boys in Troops

Martinsburg, WV – It seems I can’t go a day without reading something related to the Girl Scouts in the news. They certainly have not endeared themselves to many people with recent revelations of their solid partnership with Planned Parenthood, distributing pro-abortion literature, teaching a radical view of sexuality to young girls, and allowing a gender confused little boy into the troop.
No, The Girls Scouts have not done much to ensure their legacy among the conservative values based Americans that helped build the organization into the paragon of family and morality it was known for. Rather, it seems at every turn the Girl Scouts are simply pandering to the liberal minority rather than listening to the conservative majority that constitutes the bulk of its troops.
But here’s where social issues, policy, and freedoms collide in a very real and unfortunate example of where we are as a society.
When 14 year old Taylor posted a video to You Tube expressing her opposition to the Girl Scouts allowing boys into their troops I’m sure she never thought it would ignite a firestorm of hate towards her. But hate is what came her way. So much so that she had to set her video to private so the video and comments could no longer be seen. Here is a summary of what Taylor said in her video:
“The real question is, why is GSUSA willing to break their own safety rules and go against its own research institute findings to accommodate transgender boys? Unfortunately, I think it is because GSUSA cares more about promoting the desires of a small handful of people than it does for my safety and the safety of my friends and sister Girl Scouts, and they are doing it with money we earned for them from Girl Scout cookies.”

Why are so many confused about their gender?
Martinsburg, WV – I ran across an article related to the recent Girl Scouts fiasco taking place in Colorado that I thought had some merit to it. The author, a Ms. Marylou Barry is not shy and speaks quite bluntly regarding her perspective on recent events. The truths behind her words are nonetheless…true!
In case you don’t know what is going on the Girl Scouts have recently decided to allow a young boy into one of their troops because his mother says that he is a girl trapped in a boy’s body. I won’t go into detail of my own thoughts on how this sounds like a cleverly devised scheme for a young boy to hang out with a bunch of girls and do overnight trips together. I won’t mention the obviously dangerous precedent this sets for other boys to invade the Girl Scouts for devious purposes; and the risk girls will face that they never before did. I won’t mention those things at all.

No Room for Pro Lifers in the Girl Scouts

Martinsburg, WV – I’ve been criticized for articles like this one, linking the Girl Scouts and the Planned Parenthood abortion business. Well intentioned people have tried to convince me there is no such link and that I am simply misplacing my disdain for abortion onto a “very well respected organization.”
Whatever.
Trying to deny the concrete relationship between the Girls Scouts and Planned Parenthood is like trying to nail jello to the wall; futile. There is absolutely no doubt that a partnership between the two organizations exists and that the Girl Scouts are now advocating for abortion. Brochures with the Planned Parenthood and Girl Scouts logos are being distributed, their annual convention features pro-abortion speakers, and even the former Planned Parenthood CEO admits that a partnership exists. So denying it just makes someone look naïve or under-informed.
Here’s another example of the Girls Scouts advocating for abortion while suppressing the message of life. Recently a 21 year old pro-life volunteer went to her local Girl Scout office where she regularly serves as a Girl Experience Associate. She was wearing a pro-life t-shirt as she went in to prepare for a meeting. It would be her last day as a volunteer.
Renise Rodriguez never imagined that she would be told by a supervisor that in order to stay in the office or take part in any troop activities she would have to turn her t-shirt inside out. Stunned, she did what many in her situation would do; she complied and compromised her beliefs.

Before You Buy Those Cookies – Think About What Your Money Supports

Martinsburg, WV – For many people it’s the most wonderful time of the year. No, not Christmas (though I personally love this time of the year) I’m referring to the annual Girl Scouts Cookie Sale. The time when all those yummy cookies are peddled (sometimes literally) door to door in hopes of making money for trips, causes, and other reasons. But before you buy that next box of Thin Mints or whatever your favorite is, consider exactly what you will be supporting.
Most people don’t know that the Girl Scouts of America (GSUSA) have established a strong partnership with Planned Parenthood; the nation’s leading abortion merchant. This partnership contains a radical, feminist agenda including explicit sex education, abortion, and sexual exploration for girls as young as 9 and 10 years old.

For now, let me hit some of the highlights of this devious agreement between our nation’s largest abortion business and a once respectable organization.
At a March 2010 UN Conference on women’s rights the Girl Scouts distributed a brochure from Planned Parenthood called “Happy, Healthy and Hot.” You can click here to read this brochure. Without getting into too many specifics let me just say that this brochure is not appropriate for 9 and 10 year old girls. The advice contained in it will certainly violate the moral and/or religious convictions of many parents.
Little Boy Allowed to Join Girl Scouts

Martinsburg, WV – It seems the Girl Scouts are at it again. This once reputable organization that was known for teaching girls life skills and the respect needed to thrive in society has come under fire lately for teaching abortion, sexual promiscuity, and partnering with Planned Parenthood. Now you can add letting boys into their clubs to the list.
A 7-year old boy in Colorado is being allowed into the local Girl Scouts club because he “identifies” as a girl and is being presented by his parents as a girl. For these reasons Girls Scouts says that the boy will be welcomed into the local club. Click here to watch a video interview with the family.
In a statement to local news outlets Girls Scouts said:
“Girl Scouts is an inclusive organization and we accept all girls in Kindergarten through 12th grade as members. If a child identifies as a girl and the child’s family presents her as a girl, Girl Scouts of Colorado welcomes her as a Girl Scout. Our requests for support of transgender kids have grown, and Girl Scouts of Colorado is working to best support these children, their families and the volunteers who serve them. In this case, an associate delivering our program was not aware of our approach. She contacted her supervisor, who immediately began working with the family to get the child involved and supported in Girl Scouts. We are accelerating our support systems and training so that we’re better able to serve all girls, families and volunteers.”
This idea of being “inclusive” is a socio-political ploy to erase any and all barriers, guidelines, and restrictions in the area of sexual orientation, marriage, and family. So now we are letting little boys acting like girls into a girl’s organization. Does this mean we will now let girls acting like boys into boys groups? Are we going to demand that girls be allowed on the football team and the wrestling team? Oh wait, that’s already happening. But where does it end?
Girl Scouts Letting Planned Parenthood Teach Immoral View of Sexuality

Martinsburg, WV – Planned Parenthood is a corrupt criminal organization whose primary business is abortion; performing more abortions than any other group of its kind. But Planned Parenthood (PP) wants to do more than just kill innocent children, they would like nothing more than to usurp your parental authority and indoctrinate your children with a liberal sexual philosophy that, more than likely, stands in opposition to the views you as a parent hold.
Of course PP can’t come out and say that their goal is to teach a liberal sexual agenda so they do it covertly, under the radar. They form strategic alliances with organizations like the Girl Scouts to achieve their goals. Who would suspect a group like the Girl Scouts as being complicit with the moral decay of our kids? After all, they sell cookies for charity and other worthy causes.
The truth is far uglier and devious. I’ve written on the noted relationship between PP and the Girl Scouts before. If you missed those posts you can read them here and here. What you may not know is that it goes beyond the Girl Scouts simply giving money to PP and thereby supporting the abortion business. (By the way, that money the Girl Scouts gives to PP is your money; its money you pay for uniforms, dues, cookies etc.)
Our friends at Lifenews.com, working with Abby Johnson have reported on a brochure PP was allowed to distribute to thousands of Girl Scouts on the topic of sexuality. The problem with allowing PP to distribute their terribly immoral brochure is that (1) there is no context of marriage stated. PP simply says that sex is healthy and fun. Without the context of marriage PP is blatantly advocating sex among minors before they are prepared for the emotional and physical consequences that come with sex. (2) The brochure is aimed at girls ages 8-16. I can’t figure out why an 8 year old needs to know about sex and masturbation. (3) PP and the Girl Scouts are trampling your parental rights by teaching your daughters about sex without your consent, knowledge, and most likely at an age you oppose.

of my business, along with the gas station, restaurants and bank. But I’ve learned over the last couple of years of writing for this blog and being an open advocate for life that convenience may be the thing that helps abortion continue in our country.
What do I mean by this? Simply that there is a large group of corporations that continue to support Planned Parenthood – the world’s largest abortion business – and every time you or I step through the front doors of these corporations and local businesses part of our money goes to PP in the form of corporate donations.
The thought of opening a checking account and helping to kill an unborn child is a reality that we need to consider. So the question is, are you willing to be slightly inconvenienced in order to send a clear message that donating to Planned Parenthood is unacceptable? Am I?
The pro-life group Life Decisions International (LDI) has cost Planned Parenthood more than $40 million dollars since they first started their boycott list. No doubt PP is feeling the effects of this as more centers close across the US (PP closed centers in Arizona, Texas and Virginia and have lost all funding in Tennessee, Kansas, New Jersey, and many other states recently.)
