On November 6th – Remember Obama’s Radical Abortion Position

More so than marriage, life has been center stage in this year’s election, and will no doubt be a major factor for many as they cast their vote. But before you step into that ballot box and select the person you want as the next president of the United States, consider the following information regarding Planned Parenthood and abortion.

First, understand that there is a stark difference between the most pro-abortion president in U.S. history, Barrack Obama and Mitt Romney. It’s true; I don’t know what kind of president Romney will be on the issue of life. But I know for certain that Obama will continue to be the most pro-abortion president in U.S. history. I also know that Romney has made a number of promises, including reinstating the Mexico City policy, defunding Planned Parenthood, and repealing ObamaCare. These promises give me hope that he will be a strong proponent of life.

And, knowing that Obama is a loyal partner of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, I can say with relative certainty that Obama will do nothing to support life and will continue to push a radical abortion agenda on the American people (and around the world). With this in mind, here is some information you should know about Obama, Planned Parenthood, and abortion.

These Numbers from Planned Parenthood Will SHOCK You!

Martinsburg, WV – It’s hard to believe, but some people are still under the impression that Planned Parenthood exists to “help” women. These advocates say the organization is about offering medical assistance, prenatal care, adoption referrals, and abortions when necessary. Sorry, but anyone that views Planned Parenthood with such rose-colored glasses needs an eye exam. Planned Parenthood is America’s largest facilitator of abortion, their business is abortion, their purpose is abortion; and the numbers from their own annual report prove that claim.

Take a look at this chart which shows the breakdown of services for Planned Parenthood in 2010. Anyone with good vision will clearly see that Planned Parenthood exists mainly to offer and aid in abortions. You don’t get such lopsided numbers as these by accident, it takes careful, calculated efforts to actually help so few women while aiding in the death of so many unborn children. All the while Planned Parenthood keeps lying to the public by saying that abortions comprise only 3% of their services. Lifenews.com breaks down the numbers clearly:

“Here’s how the numbers actually crunch down. According to Planned Parenthood’s 2010 Affiliate Medical Services Summary (the most recent on record), they claim that 33.5% of their services are contraceptives. But 39.7% of those contraceptives are actually ‘Emergency Contraception Kits’. We are fully aware, thanks to public debate, that the entire purpose of Emergency Contraceptives…like the Morning After Pill…is to kill any unborn child that may be present. It’s just abortion by another name…With that understanding, 13.3% of Planned Parenthood’s entire services are dedicated to Emergency Contraceptives…So, add this 13.3% to the 3% Planned Parenthood claims, and you have over 16% of their services going to abortion.”

But let’s take a look at the next chart which shows the breakdown of Planned Parenthood services by percentage. Here we can clearly see that based on the numbers: 329,445 abortions, 841 adoption referrals, and 31,098 women given prenatal care, abortion makes up 91.2% of Planned Parenthood’s services (but they are still saying 3%). The pro-life group Live Action (the group that prepared the chart) commented on the numbers:

“This new data confirms Planned Parenthood’s position as the largest U.S. abortion provider and shows that more than ten terminations are performed for every instance of prenatal care provided. Furthermore, Planned Parenthood aborted 391 children for every adoption referral made in 2010. This data covers all Planned Parenthood affiliates within the United States.”
