Video: Children React to Homosexual Marriage Proposal’s (And the lesson it teaches)

The video below is priceless in my opinion. It is the reaction of children as they watch gay marriage proposals. The looks on their faces and their comments are worth a thousand words. Some show a very innocent and genuine surprise over what they are watching while other look almost bored like they’ve seen this a thousand times before.

Watch the video below and see for yourself. If the video doesn’t appear automatically please refresh your browser.

While we might watch this video and derive some inward satisfaction knowing that left to themselves and nature children will generally resist the idea that homosexuality is “normal.” What we cannot be quick to do is ignore the warnings this video provides. [Read more...]

Rocker Shares Testimony of Adoption in Powerful New Music Video

If you are a big music fan like me you will recognize the name John Elefante as the lead singer of the Christian band Petra (among others). You will also remember him as the lead singer of the band Kansas. The music industry icon is sharing the story of his adopted daughter in a powerful new music video. In it, Elenfante shares of how his daughter was supposed to be aborted but the mother chose to put her iup for adoption instead. The Elefante’s adopted her and she is now 13 years old. In a recent article, Elefante says:

“I can’t imagine life without my daughter, Sami, and it just breaks my heart that pregnant young women much like her birth mother, instead of choosing life for their babies, are denying them the chance to be born…If our song can in any way bring attention to this issue and encourage those who are considering abortion to choose life through options such as adoption, then we couldn’t be happier.”

Letter: You should Euthanize Your 13 Year Old Son

Hate LetterA family was shocked to receive an anonymous letter berating their 13 year old autistic son. After talking about the child’s “noise” and calling him “retarded” the anonymous writer suggests the family should move far away or consider euthanizing their son. It’s inconceivable that someone could write such vile words about another human being. Then again, the culture of death spread by Planned Parenthood and other groups have led to this conclusion: anyone not considered “normal” is not worthy of life.

The write had one thing very wrong though. The write wrote that “nobody wants you living here and they don’t have the guts to tell you.” But the community proved the writer very wrong as they began showing incredible support for the family and letting them know they were welcome in the neighborhood.

It’s encouraging to see the neighborhood showing such support and defending the family in the face of such hatred. It’s also sad they have to. Watch the video below to see more and hear excerpts of the letter. Warning: strong language in the video. If the video doesn’t appear automatically, please refresh your browser. Video: Women Protest HHS Mandate

Why is this important? Because both the government and the media have sought to portray women in general as agreeing with and supporting the HHS mandate as “women’s health care.” They’ve also sought to portray opponents to the HHS mandate as religious men. This is patently false and this video and the protest it represents prove it. The reality is that Nancy Pelosi and Kathleen Sebelius  don’t speak for the majority of women though they claim to. I would venture to say most women in America don’t view contraception as health care and disagree with the HHS mandate. Then again, I’m just a “religious man.”

Not All Guys Support Abortion So They Can Have Casual Sex

A new video is opposing the idea that men support abortion in order to have casual sex. The “BroChoice” video supported by Planned Parenthood shows men saying they support abortion so they can have consequence free, casual sex. It’s about as shallow as you can get. But the video below is a compilation by Counter Cultured, found on their website, showing men that support life and their reasons for that support. It’s worth a few minutes of your time. Share it with friends and family to show that not all men support abortion so they can have casual sex. If the video doesn’t appear automatically, please refresh your browser. Incredible Video: Unborn Children Developing Nervous System Feel Pain

The video below interviews three medical experts on the question of whether or not unborn children can feel pain, and exactly when they feel pain. A recent article reports:

“Critical care physician and pediatrician Dr. Paul Lui witnesses firsthand children born extremely premature, where there is little to no difference between his fully-birthed patients and those still in the womb.

“As an obstetrician, Dr. Ingrid Skop interacts with pregnant women and sees the movements and responses from a preborn child in the womb.

“Representative Greg Bonnen, a neurosurgeon, has been a prominent figure in Texas for over 20 years. Explaining the inner-workings of the human nervous system, Dr. Bonnen illustrates how the infrastructure of the nervous system is fully developed and functioning to make pain possible.”

Is It Harder to Get a Gun or an Abortion?

unborn babyShould it be easier to get a gun or to get an abortion? That is a question HuffPo recently discussed and found they were upset that it’s easier to get a gun than it is an abortion in many states. I won’t pretend to understand their logic or agree with their conclusion. After all, I support the 2nd Amendment and exercise my rights to own and operate firearms legally as often as possible. And while I could have exercised my legal right to an abortion I declined to do so three times and enjoy three amazing kids as a result.

However, according to an article commenting on the recent HuffPo piece it’s a good idea to enact gun control in order to save the life of a child, but regulations on abortion clinics and waiting periods for abortions are too strenuous. The article comments:

“The authors mentioned gun control in connection to saving lives, but quickly dismissed the idea that waiting periods for counseling before abortion might save a baby’s life – a highly debatable point and one that shouldn’t matter to liberals who say anything is worth doing ‘if it saves the life of just one child.’ The pair lamented that 24-hour waiting periods for abortion made the process ‘more drawn out for everyone and less accessible to people who live in rural areas or have to take time off of work.’ Simply buying a gun ought to be at least as ‘drawn out’ as murdering an infant in the womb, it seems.”

So even though abortion kills approximately 1.2 million kids every year in the United States, as opposed to gun violence killing roughly 30,000, the writers at HuffPo still want abortion regs eased while gun regs are tightened. Hmmm…call me crazy, but I smell ideological hypocrisy here. [Read more...]
